As somebody who does not typically play turn-based RPGs, Miitopia has been a very enjoyable one. If it were not for the character limit, I'd write an essay on what I love and dislike about this game. So I will do a list: Pros: - Adorable - Decent customization options for all but one character's faces (NPCs included!) - Banger soundtrack (especially the boss battle music) - Variety of classes (although they unlock as you progress) - Creative designs for enemies and many areas of the game - Decent and funny armor designs - Basic understanding of RPG elements without overwhelming the player (abilities, leveling up, relationship building with teammates, effects inflicted on by enemies, etc.) Cons: - Grinding. Lots and lots of grinding (it's baby's first RPG, gotta embrace the good and bad of it) - The tank class - Evil imps - Have I mentioned the tank class? This game is incredibly engaging. The story is fun, the characters are witty and charming, and RPG staples like turn-based combat, classes, and level-ups are all present. The battles are all enjoyable and rarely frustrating, and there is thankfully little to no need to grind for experience points. There's also plenty of treasure everywhere, with gold, equipment and food sometimes inside the chests found throughout the world. The amount of areas is also expansive, with a surprising amount of things to do and people to talk to. Additionally, the amiibo compatibility is used well, rewarding the player with either Game Tickets to play either a prize roulette or rock-paper-scissors or even costumes based on specific characters. Between the characters, costumes, adventure, story, and overall un that this game provides, I can safely say that it has quickly become one of my favorites.Read full review

If you like miis in the slightest and RPGs then you'll absolutely love Miitopia! There's tons of replay value with many classes your miis can be (starting from level 1). If you're an rpg fan then you'll find this game enjoyable! It's very cute and humorous.
