"Murdered: Soul Suspect" is unique and I really appreciate it's originality. Other than that, I feel as though this game had a lot of potential, but unfortunately, failed to show it. You play as Ronan O'Connor, a Salem detective who has been killed by a serial killer, known simply as "The Bell Killer". As Ronan's ghost, you traverse through Salem, Massachusetts, uncovering clues regarding The Bell Killer and discovering the city's dark past, with your teenaged Emo medium sidekick, Joy. In Ronan's pursuit of his killer, you must use stealth, to exorcise demons and banish them, before they feast on your soul. The story is over before you know it, and what little side missions this game has to offer, are lackluster and just not very interesting. The side missions consist of, talking to other ghosts around Salem, in order to help them finish their . . . . well, unfinished business, so they can move on to the light, and into the afterlife. Most of the ghosts' backstories, are just dull and quiet frankly, not very interesting. The replay value is extremely low. When you complete the story, the game is all but over. There is no free roam. So, you'd better discover every secret and finish all of those ghost stories, before the game's story is done. Overall, decent story, unique concept, but forgettable.Read full review
