Although there aren't that many books included in this game, they are very well done. You have several steps for each book with the final step reading it all by yourself. One of the steps also asks questions to help focus on reading comprehension. It also has a feature that lets you read out loud while it records you and then you can hear yourself reading it back. My son thought that was so neat! A lot of learning games are more difficult for early readers because kids have to read on the screen what they are supposed to do. This game tells you and it's easier for my son to follow along and know what he needs to do. Once he has mastered this game, I will definitely get him the 1st-2nd grade version. Well worth the money in my opinion.
I love it! I was hesitant about purchasing an educational game for my five year old, but he loves it. Yes, some of the words are a bit hard, but he's catching on rather quickly. Educational and fun...a winner in my book!
My son liked how there were one than one way to learn. Scratch to uncover answer, unscramble words, he really liked that if he didn't know the word it was repeated if you clicked on it.
I bought this game for my niece, who is in SK, and she really likes it. She plays it often and from what I've seen, the quizzes are fun and challenging.
Great!
