The game is a lot of fun, and does a great job getting the whole family involved. However, don't expect the preloaded songs to be everyone's favorite to play. Harmonics has cleverly loaded the game with "okay" to "mediocre" songs. There are a lot of great songs available to download, but at $1.99 a piece you can spend a lot trying to build a library you enjoy. Your music preferences may be different, but my 10 yr old would much rather play Green Day over Fleetwood Mac. Guess which one costs extra?

I already had the PS4 version but just the guitar bundle. I bought this because PS no longer accepted my money for some reason so I moved over to Xbox. I also own Guitar Hero Live and what I love about Rock Band 4 is that I can buy the songs once and play them as many times as I want. Plus, they have a ton more songs to choose from and songs that I actually want to play (heavy metal) than GH Live. For the bad, I don't understand why the area you have to hit precisely on the drumset is so small but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I would have liked an easier difficulty to start out with. However, I already have a ton of experience playing with a guitar so I can't say anything about the difficulty for that. Other than that, I absolutely love it and glad I bought it again.

I like the challenges and online game play which I never got to do on my older rock band versions. Guitar and drums are fun and the graphics are better than I remember. My only issue is not being able to get the mic to sync up properly. Which is apparently a common problem and basically unfixable. It's bearable but definitely annoying. Everything else is great though . Definitely don't regret the purchase.
