This game would be one of the best early baseball games of video game history with the exception of no MLBPA licence. I enjoyed playing this game on multiple platforms(Game boy, NES, and of course SNES). The SNES version is the best of the 3, of course with better graphics and a control set up that is easy to use with the larger snes control pad. The only hang up is one of the camera angles when fielding in the outfield. If the play is at the wall you will have some difficulty viewing the landing point of the ball. The basestealing graphics and choice mode when sliding is great and probably set the early standard for this type of control mechanic. Basically you guess what part of the bag to slide to and hope the fielder doesnt pick that side. Hope this helps and I hope that you enjoy the game like I have.Read full review
Excellent graphics for its time. Very good control over fielders, hitters and pitchers. Some limitations -- throws are always laser light on the bag, the second baseman just stands there on balls hit through the middle, its almost impossible to steal bases or take an extra base, computer errors are almost non existent, no real player names. Even so, its still a lot of fun.
An awesome game! Keeps your head on a swivel.

Solid game for those who don't need all those high tech graphics to be entertained. None of the actual team's or player's names are listed in the game except for Mr. Clemens himself, but overall a great buy!
