Supercross 3D lets you race a dirt bike in a tournament that spans the United States. You view the action from behind the bike as it slides around hairpin turns, rattles over washboard bumps, and zooms over jumps. Game options include instant replays after crashes, five skill levels and in-game music.
The game features fourteen different dirt tracks located in various U.S. cities. Each track has its own difficulty level and layout. Tracks are also rated by the type of surface (hard, soft, etc.) The game saves the record lap times at each track.
There are three different play modes. In practice mode you can race alone on any of the tracks. In race mode you compete against seven computer controlled riders. In tournament mode you compete against a field of 28 riders on a circuit covering all fourteen tracks.
Players must also modify the shocks, tires and gears of their bike. Choosing the right combination of modifications is necessary to get the best lap time on each track.
