So far so good with my Vivoactive 3. Very pleased with the condition it came in from the seller. Original box, with cable, manuals, etc. Very clear that it was gently used as advertised, so seller definitely gets 5 star rating. I'm still learning to set everything up, and so this review is pretty early on in my usage, but so far, I like the size, the interchangeable (quick release) feature of the watch band (bought a bunch more quick release bands on Amazon to change things out as I see fit). Like that it syncs with my Garmin Connect account which then ties into things like MapMyFitness and Strava automatically. Heart Rate, stress and overall activity monitoriing is nice. Stairs climbed is a little quirky and I'm reading that a lot of that might be based on atmospheric pressure, and altimeter settings, so I need to play with that a bit more. Battery life seems to be pretty solid, unless you just really use the GPS like crazy throughout the day. I don't wear it at night, so can't comment on sleep monitoring, but that's also when I charge mine up. I haven't played with the golf setting, or any other activity/workout other than walk, so can't comment much on those. It's become my daily wear watch and for that reason, I really like it. A solid activity tracker that doubles as a watch.....but has a ton of features and functionality.Read full review

Does not track steps or flights accurately. I have 16 steps in my home and am constantly chasing small kids up and down all day long and still manage to only get 1-3 flights per day. When I had my Fitbit I was averaging 10-15 flights per day. Only tracks steps accurately while you are exercising unless you are pushing a stroller. I walked 2 miles with my son in the stroller today and only tracked about 1000 steps. When exercising on the elliptical or running on the treadmill or outside it seems to track accurately. When walking in my house only tracks about 2/3s of what I am actually walking. Not a big fan of the app...but may be because I am still learning how to use it. That being said, I am a small woman and love how it fits compared to the Fitbit Surge. It is still bulky on my wrist, but much better. Also looks nicer. The quality seems nice, but am disappointed in the accuracy.Read full review

The Garmin Vivoactive 3 offers a lot of activity tracking. Syncing with our Garmin Index Scale and my wife's iPhone is quick and seamless. The watch is attractive and my wife loves it. She wasn't sure at first because of the large display but now appreciates its size. The only time she takes it off is when she needs to charge it. Without a doubt, Garmin has a real winner in the Vivoactive 3.

I have gone through a variety of fitness watches, and none of them stuck. Either the battery life was poor, it lacked certain features, accompanying app was no good, etc. The Garmin Vivoactive 3 has a great battery, has all the features I need (I hit the gym every day, so I require more than just steps and hear rate) and the Garmin Connect app is great. Regarding this particular seller's product, it's more or less a brand new watch.

I got this watch to help keep track of my activities and because it has a barometric altimeter for when im out hiking. Between the watch and the app this so far has been great. I didn't know that you could customize the watch face. I love my new watch and plan to use it while hiking. There is not a hiking function on the watch per se, but I think if you chose the walking function it will track your elevation gain. And through the app you can add the activity. This watch has been really cool and the battery last a really long time.
