This is a Great flash light! With 630 Lumens it lights up the night, and with Mag Lights Adjustable beam you always have the amount of light you need were you want it! Compared to other lights of the same Lumens and smaller stature it holds it's own weight, it's just not Compact or a Lithium Battery. I use this at work in an Automotive shop. And when it comes to seeing, I am no longer blind.......... and when it comes to blinding a guy half way across the shop with the strobe I'm not lacking either :P With it's bright white light I can see smoke when checking for EVAP and Intake leaks Very easily, and since it dims, I can turn it down to not blind myself off of shiny objects, and I also gain up to 36 hours of battery life by turning it down, yes, 36 HOURS!!

i have used a rechargeable mag light for years in the past . i have not used one of the new LED lights until now . i can say that the old style bulbs as just a little brighter but over all i like the new LED light better ! i mainly like the focus of the new LED better because you can get a tighter beam from it and therefor a longer range of use even if it is a touch less bright . my only complaint is the switch button or on/off button , is is flush with the barrel of the unit and makes it more difficult to find just by feel !!! if you have never used one of these lights , you need to , it is like having a hand held spotlight , they are awesome and have a much longer run time than a smaller size light !!! the design is all but indestructible !!! you can literally use this thing for self defense like a nightstick if needed , police have used this same design for YEARS for a reason !!! anything under $100.00 is a great price !Read full review

I had a rechargeable mag-lite years ago. It had the halogen bulb in it. This is much better it doesn't run down as quick & has more light options. This light actually cost me less than the one I bought 20 years ago. But, so far is just as durable. I would recommend this light to anyone that is looking for a quality light. J.B.

I had one of these many years ago while working security and always wanted another one. Once you use this flashlight you will never want any other. So bright it will put out a street light if aimed at the photo cell. Worth every penny.
