I really like my Leupold EFR vxIII 3-9x33,it's air gun rated and will focus down to 10 yards.I bought the Leupold freedom 3-9x40 to save money.It has everything my Leupold EFR does except it will only parallax down to 50 yards.All my shooting is with Springer type air guns,and my targets are from 25-45 yards.It is a great scope but i can't use it with my set up.

I love the VX freedom scopes, I had avoided this line because I thought they were low end specials for some reason but then I read about how they were better than the VX2 that was being discontinued and cheaper than the VX1 so I bought one and WOW big bright field of view and just excellent color and clarity I still think it looks better than my VX3i. I have the rimfire and the duplex reticle even the VX Freedom red dot and they are possibly the best glass for the money and made in Oregon USA with a lifetime guarantee so it just can’t get much better.

This is my 5th Leupold scope, my second vx-freedom 3-9x40. The first one I bought went on my youngest daughter's .243, the second one I purchased for myself to go on recently acquired. 243. These scopes are Leupold quality all the way. I've read some people don't like the "clicks" or lack thereof. They aren't really clicks as much as mild stops. Keep in mind these are primarily hunting scopes so they're more of a set it and forget it. Although they're not tactical clicks the are plenty pronounced for adjustment purposes. I have no complaints. If you are looking for reliable inexpensive scope for hunting these are tough to beat. Clear glass, rugged construction, and excellent low light light transmission. Plus the warranty is top notch, which you'll probably never use. Get yourself one of these, you won't be sorry. I have a lot of Leupold glass. Highest end is the vxr zombie scope and have been hooked since. Unbelievable when I can’t see my impact area but with the scope it looks like it has spotlights on it. Amazing what a good product can do. Ya get what you pay for is my motto...enjoy
