Motorola Talkabouts are the best choice for our Car Club. Years ago we all used bulky CB Radios and roof mounted magnetic based antennas to communicate while caravanning or once we reached our destination. We have found that we can be about 2 miles apart and still communicate, more if elevated with a straight line view. It's ability to have Channels and Sub-Channels, gives us so many channels to chose from that we are never interfered with by others, no matter where we drive. Not true on CB or on units that only have 14 channels. It's the only Radio we buy now. Highly recommended!!!

I bought this set and I took it to my business . The range is not even 2 miles let alone 20 miles. I wish someone did write a review about this product before I bought it. They don’t hold the charge long enough and the range is the two major issues.
