This short review is about the seller blinq. Received my Y50 and on the outside there was nothing wrong with it. It came in great shape with no visible scrapes or scars, but after booting it up I understood what was really happening. I immediately noticed a red dot in the middle of the screen. Although small, it is very distracting and was not said in the description. After that I saw that the y50 had a ton of bloat and malware installed; another negative. Plus, it just doesn't run as fast as some of my friends y50s and haven't figured out why. For example, I only have 1 chrome tab open, clear task manager, and it still takes longer to load then my old 2009 dell laptop. Its ridiculous, still considering whether or not to return it. Overall I would not recommenced this sellers certified refurbished items.Read full review

this is an excellent computer i can us the touch pad or my mouse or a stylus pen an even talk my commands to it thru natural dragon that is included. the lighted key pad is awesome looking it has windows 8 witch is new to me but you can go to the desktop with is just like windows 7 that i am use to so i use both while i get use to using 8 super fast computer I just love it
Looks and runs very good! Awesome specs for the price. Build quality could be taken up a notch though. The aluminum feels flimsy. Definitely a good buy.
