I'm liking this guitar more than my IBZ GSR200. P Bass pickup(s) sound beautiful. ( 8.9lk ohms ). The neck has no issues. Fretwires are dressed properly. I bought this guitar as a fixer. ( No Sound ) About 90 minutes to find and resolve the sound issue. Re-made the pickup to volume connection. -Thee are nice guitars for the money.

This bass has great sound and is very cool! This is my first bass and I have to say, Ive been around high quality basses and this definetly isn't as good as the high quality basses. BUT, it's not terrible quality either! I would say if you want to try bass out and have fun with it and learn it, this is the bass for you. If you've had a bass for awhile and know you want to play it, I would get a higher quality bass. Overall, this is a great starter bass. Would totally reccomend to a friend! Also be aware that this bass is smaller than normal bass guitars. It's a great size for me since i'm a girl and I have a very small body. p.s. The cord that it comes with is very short!

Let me start by saying that I'm a noobie... I was looking to buy a bass guitar for about a month; I found several options in my price range, but the one with best reviews (bass websites, not ebay) was the Rogue SX100B. After I got it some friends said "it's ok, looks good" but then, they played it and that statement changed to "excellent beginner's bass!!" I can tell you that it is really well built, it's light weight and times are awesome! (Have in mind that I'm playing with a 1991 Fender bass amp), looks great with the headstock in black, and the neck is very smooth. Things to do as soon as you get it: Change all tuning pegs as soon as you can 😁 they're not good and keys are plastic, so you'll get a rattling sound in some strings. Remove the back plate and tighten the knobs (and check all other screws). You won't be disappointed.Read full review

I bought this instrument for a friend. I was on a tight budget, and this was about the least expensive bass I could locate. I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality of this instrument -- especially the neck and fingerboard. I was expecting to have to adjust the bridge, but I found the intonation and action were quite satisfactory. Perhaps the tone from the pickups was the only thing that was not quite in the same realm as, say, a Fender Precision. But even that was VERY usable. Played this bass for hours before giving it to its intended recipient!
