These round ice balls are much easier to use than the large cubes I was using previously. They fit easily in all types of glasses and do not stick together. They last a long time in the drink. I make the ice with hot water and the cubes are clearer and melt more slowly. My experience with silicone molds has been good as they last a long time. I don’t use refrigerator made ice any longer and don’t miss the quick melting small cubes that ice-makers provide.

While it makes nice spherical ice balls it is remarkably a horrific pain to fill the spheres. Those tiny holes mean you have to fill with a trickle of water and do it very very very slowly. Even then you end up with as much water in the well around the molds than inside. I did expect them to be larger, I’d have loved to have big balls. They only last slightly longer than an ordinary ice cube but do look nice in the glass.

Several things are disappointing about this product. First it’s a “large” size, I assumed it was 2.5” ice cubes because those are large. These guys definition of large is much smaller. Second it leaks water everywhere when you fill it. The top lifts and you get a layer of ice in the middle that attaches everything together. I tried holding the top down by using binder clips but the thing still made a mess. I would not recommend this at all. Not worth the hassle to return so I threw it away.

Love the roundness of the ice . Last so much longer than regular ice cubes. It's a little hard to fill and get a complete circle . Need to add a little more water after the first has frozen. Needs some how to lock down top to bottom.
