Assembly is easy IF you flip box upside down remove bottom to install wheels, then flip over onto wheels and install handles. Tested generator for 25 min and nice little panel meter confirmed 123 volts @ 63hz unloaded and 121 @ 61 hz with a 3kw load. I charged the included battery and it started & ran smoothly on propane after 3rd crank... dummy me I forgot to open propane tank valve : ) As with many other China products, the rubber wheels, handles are super stinky. Product Manual out date listing Auto Throttle which I really don't want or need. All said, I'm very please with this 8KW continuous 10KW peak generator that runs on Propane.

Received right on time stated. Very easy to installations was very simple. Started with the second pull on propane. It ran smoothly for the half hour I had it running. On receiving I checked all bolts for tightness all wire connections all were OK. It's a great looking and will built and running generator. It was a great buy and price.

Purchased this unit with some reservations as I had seen they had some trouble in the past with Oil leakage. Now the price is right and is dual fuel too. I had hoped that the Winco TriFuel units would come down but I doubt they'll ever get this low. Unit arrived on time with truck with lift gate and was easy to get into my garage. Assembly was easy. I tipped it on it's top and removed it from the carton upside down to make it easy to put on the wheels and stands. Done with that I simply tipped it back over and then put on the handles. Easy enough, although the handles seem flimsy, they are enough to do the job. I should say the welds on this thing aren't very good but what do you expect from China? You have to connect the negative side of the battery to the frame of the generator as well. Don't forget to add oil. I added pure synthetic since this is an air cooled motor. I decided to start it on LP first from my grill tank and followed the simple directions for connections, etc. It started with the electric start after just a few seconds and took off from there. I ran it for 30 minutes and added some resistance heat loads, I checked all the voltages and the frequency with a portable multi-meter and everything was right on. It is kind of loud but the exhaust is muffled fairly well. I think it's just the inherent engine and generator mechanical noise you hear. Not much you can do about it. I might configure some kind of portable cover to help with the noise in the future if I have too. I shut it down after I was satisfied with the operation and put it away. I don't really want to run it on gas since that means keep the fuel fresh or draining the tank between uses which will likely be infrequent. I purchased this as a portable emergency generator so I shouldn't have to exercise this unit except I may buy a battery tender for it. Overall, I think it's a decent unit for the money and can only hope it lasts for however long I need to have it. But from the 30 minutes I ran it, it appeared to be working as advertised. I'd recommend it for the price as a standby unit. Not willing to speculate on durability as a construction generator for everyday use.Read full review

This generator was very easy to put together. I could have done it without instructions. I hooked it up to propane and it cranked the first try and ran great. I only tested the 120 volt / 20 amp plugs with a shop fan for about 1/2 an hour, but all seemed to be as it should. I checked the other outlets with a volt meter and all checked out. My only concern is I was looking for a tri-fuel in this model and could not find one close to this price range. However, when I got this one and went to the Powerland website I saw they have the tri-fuel for about 50.00 more than I paid for this one. But, to get the parts to convert it to tri-fuel costs 200.00! I rate this a 4 simply because I have not yet put it through any real test; i.e. power outage for extended period, camping, etc. When that time comes I will adjust my rating according to its performance.Read full review
