I bought this Seagate Backup Plus Slim+ 2TB External HDD to upgrade my PS4. It worked great before the exchange and it still works great now that I switched the hard drives. I have heard/saw YouTube videos of other people that had difficulty removing the hard drive from the case. However, I had absolutely no problem taking it out. And every since I replaced the cover with the PS4's old 500GB SDD it still looks brand new. If you are seeking a hard drive to upgrade your PS4, then this is definitely something you should look into.

I purchased this as a backup to the exact same drive purchased about 18 months ago. However, early on the day that this second one arrived, the first one crashed before receiving the second one. I would have liked it to have waited one more day before crashing. Up until that moment I thought that the first one was great. I hear that it costs quite a bit to have an expert try to retrieve any data lost. The computer that I was using, its internal hard drive, and the Seagate all fried at the same time. When I plug it into a USB port it isn't so quiet any more.

It has a nice Blue metallic look on its top side and matte finish on the bottom. Definitely great read and write transfer speeds. And fairly slim compared to other 2TB 2.5 hard drive without its enclosure. Overall amazing look and performance.
