It IS powerful, it does everything I've put to it. The money difference between it and Vitamix make it a very wise choice for me. i don't need to liquefy strawberry seeds. It is, however, a physical beast if getting the tall 64 oz jar. It's about 3" too tall to fit space between kitchen counter and wall cabinets. I mistakenly ordered the tall jar unit, not aware of the height issue, and the short 64 oz jar costs over $70.00 itself. There needs to be a better bargain price for replacing a new unit's "too tall" jar. I highly recommend the Oster Versa for performance.

I didn't understand, first of all, that I was buying a blender AND food processor. The food processor did a nice fast job slicing up a potato but after the first one, it jammed. The machine makes a lot of noise, and I couldn't imagine it lasting for any amount of time. Plus, it was very difficult to get the container off. It is so lightweight that it threatens to jump off the counter, and did I mention that it is very loud?

'This is super easy to use. Everything is easy to clean except the travel cups which are to narrow to get your hand inside to scrub. Other than that, I love the Oster Versa. I make a smoothie every morning a clean the mess all in a bout 5 minutes. I picked mine up for $139 and it's worth every penny!

This machine is a beast. I crushes ice without effort, makes smoothies with ease, and milkshakes are a dream. It has a large sturdy base and easy to clean jar. I use this machine daily and can't say enough about its pulverizing power. Will it go round in circles.....Indeed!

I wanted a blender that would blend thicker liquids and pull the liquid up from the bottom and this one does exactly that. It's a little noisy but it's only noisy when you're blending. In the cupboard it is very quiet. The food processor works beautifully and is not very noisy. It takes a bit of room in the cupboard to store all of it, but it's worth it to me to have a blender that does what I want it to do.
