The Pentair Kreepy Krauly Great White is a suction side automatic pool cleaner suitable to clean in ground swimming pools of all surfaces. The Great White comes with a suction regulator, vacuum gauge, skimmer adapters, manual vacuum handle, and 1 meter standard hoses (12 connector hoses) totaling 40 of hose.The Pentair Kreepy Krauly Great White Suction Side Automatic Pool Cleaner is designed to be used in small to large pools, no deeper than 6. This unit is not self propelled but does have a pre-programmed turn cycle. This unit comes equipped with a series of reduction gears, oscillator assembly, vacuum skirt, brush kit, bumper, and swivel assembly. The oscillator knocking back and forth causes the cleaner to scuttle across the bottom of the pool. The Great White pool cleaner has a 15".

Keep It Simple
Easy to set up and get running. No batteries or cords to worry about. Just need to connect vacuum hose(s). I'm impressed at how well it climbs, moves about, and scrubs the pool floor and walls.

I'm not too exided.
It does a good job on the floor and flat walls but will not clime on the small curved walls. I still have to brush it one a week. Spending 80% on deep end of the pool. They should design this product with better suction.

Great Pool Cleaner - Great Value
I had a Great white Pool cleaner for over 10 years. It worked flawlessly until early this year when it simply broke (it was over aged). I started looking for different models and read reviews about them. Everything seem awfully more expensive and reviews said they lasted 3-5 years. As was happy for the last 10 years with my Great White I decided to buy again. Really good price (~$300) for 10 years = $30 per year... unbeatable IMO. It cleans well and climbs the wall of the pool to clean them as well. I am sure I will enjoy it for a long time :-)

Can handle leaves and twigs
Many leaves and twigs in my pool, but the Great White can handle it. I use an in-line filter basket to catch all the leaves. I have owned 3 of these pool cleaners over the years, so yes, I am satisfied with the performance, but I find that the unit needs a lot of maintenance. Go ahead and order a new GW9508 vacuum skirt. It is easy to replace, but you will need a new one at least every 12 months.

replacement for my shark
After putting it is service it stopped working as designed. After calling Pentair they informed me that they didn't handle repairs directly. Just sent parts to replace broken ones. Other wise return it to distributor. They suggested taking it apart to see what was wrong. Which I did. Called them back and ordered a part. It is running fine now. It is a good product.
