I am satisfied overall with the TV. However, the sound from day 1 has been so distorted in the bottom end, that it actually rattles the chassis. I can only minimize that with the built in equalizer. Fortunately, the audio out level is not affected, so I feed that output into my stereo and turn off the TV speakers. Due to the size of the TV, I don't want to be bothered with sending it back for repair.
Absolutely love this TV. Great picture, great features, easy set up. I was looking for a new TV. I have old DLP television set that I just wanted to get rid of because of the size and awkward shape. I researched and found this TV for an absolutely unbeatable price and upon receiving it... I couldn't be happier! Best TV I have ever bought for the price. Has a cool looking remote too! I would highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a new TV. The size, the shape, and the weight of the TV are great! Far better than any TV I have ever had in the past.
I was looking for a flat screen television for my husband for Christmas locally. Not interested in spending another 100.00 for shipping costs. The local retail chain store wanted 650.00 for the same television which I had put on layaway in September when I saw this price I was shocked....I returned the layaway television and purchased this one for a $200 plus savings including shipping. I was able to use the savings to buy a more expensive entertainment unit. Fantastic deal!! My husband was so surprised when I had it all set up in our living room when he came home from work...gave it to him early so he could get used to the programming and additional features. I gave our old huge cabinet big screen television that was over 10 years old to a gentleman and his family on Criag's list for free....they were sooo appreciative, it was a great experience we will not forget. Bought because I got one for my husband for x-mas and we were using it. It was for his man cave. So I was tired of him complaining about us using his TV, and that it would never make it to the "cave". So I got on ebay and got this one. Put it in front of his TV to see if he would notice it. It took about 3 days! This one has more stuff on it like the Netflix. I think he likes it better then his. But this one is staying upstairs! It is perfect for what I need.
i was reading a previous post from a fellow that goes by spook (some #) and he had sound issues that he felt wasnt worth sending the tv in for repair. i just wanted to tell him that if his tv came with the 1yr warranty(which it should). then just call support . give them all the purchase details,explain the issue ,and vizio actually sends a repair person to your home to repair the tv. i had my pwr supply to the vizio fail 1 week before the year was up and they sent a representative repair fellow with the parts to my house 300 miles away from his home to repair..FOR FREE!so i say youre wasting your warranty!~@~
