I've owned 3 different Bissell carpet cleaners but this Hoover goes above and beyond the performance of any of the Bissell shampooer's I've owned yet.. hands down.. easy to assemble, easy to operate, easier to clean after use and sucks up pretty near all of the liquid it puts on the rugs.. that was a big issue I had with every Bissell I've owned- the clean water would be gone but the dirty tank barely had any in it... so? So the water was obviously still in the rug even after multiple (10 or so) dry passes over the same spot. Not the case with this Hoover! I am amazed because it sucked up as much as it put down pert near. I definitely like the dual tank -vs- the bladder system on my bissell's... I love this bad mamma jamma!

WOW! I used it for my drawing room carpet which is almost 10 years old and has lot of stains. Original color was light cream but it looks almost black. I used Hover Max Extract 77 with hoover 2x carpet detergents and it looks new now. It took about 4 hrs for 100 sqft area but it was worth-ed at the end compare to the price quote I was getting from carpet cleaning companies. Definitely Hoover Max Extract 77 Multi-Surface Pro Deep Carpet & Hard Floor Cleaner has a WOW effect. I am very happy to have it and I would recommend to everyone.

I have had this product for less than a year, but since I have 3 dogs, 2 children, and 1 cat, I need a cleanser that I can pull out when needed, which is often. I read the reviews on eBay about this product, which swayed me to buy it. I wish I had gone on hoover.com and read the reviews there. FYI, this product worked fine when I first used it. However, after using the machine over the course of 3 months or so, I started having a problem with the clean water going from the holding tank directly into the dirty water tank. Come to find out... this is a common problem many people have had with this model. Hoover is aware of the problem and doesn't care. It's not worth $5, let alone what I paid for it. I have been an eBay user since 99, and I can tell you this... the next time I look to purchase something, I will look elsewhere before reading reviews on this site. I think all these people with the 5/excellent reading, have probably been paid by Hoover. I feel ripped off. I wish Dyson would come up with a carpet cleaner... I have 2 Dyson vacuum cleaners and will never buy anything else. Hoover has lost this customer for life!Read full review

This unit works great, used the first day I received it. Easy to fill and clean. Designed well to fill detergent and clean water, very powerful and not as noisy as my old cleaner. Controls work for all types of cleaning, standard to hard core cleaning on walkway to main rooms. My office looks and feels like a new carpet. I purchased the rake also to pull the fibers up from matting, with the cleaning and drying I was back in service in two hours. Three rooms cleaned and drying right behind me. Last time I had a cleaning Co. in it cost me $300.00, I purchase this one for $199.00 and cleaned my whole house. I will use at least 3 to 4 times a year. Some savings as we have two cats and need to clean spots up. quick easy and works, what else can you ask for!
