Read one review that stated a/c was loud. No louder than 20" box fan that I ran continuously. Plenty of cooling power and remote works very well. Very happy I purchased and very satisfied so far. I believe was heck of a deal.

This unit is not super quiet but it packs a punch and honestly it didn't take long at all for us to get used to a new noise. We have it in our bedroom and we use it only at night. It only takes a few minutes for the room to cool down. I am not sure if it's energy efficient; have not received a bill yet and we have another portable a/c in our apt. so the bill won't show the true nature of this product's efficiency. This unit arrived very quickly and delivered to my door which was nice since we live on the 2nd floor. We are very happy to have made this purchase. We sleep in comfort!

AC is working great in our converted attic master suite. The weather has only gotten up to 83°F so far, but this thing has already shown it's going make a big difference in our suite. A couple minutes after turning it on you can feel the difference. I leave this thing on for no more than 20 minutes and our room is nice and cool. We need more time to see if the unit lasts, but so far it seems like it was good buy for a great price.
