    Finally own my own Kitchen Aid

    This is something I Ave wanted for years. My mother had one for years and really never gave it much thought back in the day but it was used daily. I'm 55 now, my daughter wanted one for a wedding gift, I bought her the Red Artisan version of mine. Of course I got her all the attachments for it but I decided I wanted one, now I take on harder recipes because of it. I've had mine for three weeks and I have used it at least 15 times, powers through cookie dough's I got the refurbished White Artisan I'm a happy camper, my wife appreciates it too.

    Good power when you need it. Can handle thick dough wthout any problems.

    No doubt, these Kitchen Aid mixers are heavy duty and get the job done. This one has a problem that sounds like gears grinding when you go from high speed to slow speed. If you slow it down one notch at a time it does not do it. Also has an oil smell while running. I think this will ware off and I can live with the other problem.

    everyone got one

    I have three adult children and they all love my Kitchen Aid that I was handed down, it's about 60 years old. I bought each of them their own and added the guard and slicers/grader attachments. I got thank you letters more than once! I get phone calls about the meals they have made and they are thrilled as I am.

    So far so good! Looks perfect! Would love to know what makes it “refurbished “. But essential half price for practically perfect kitchen aid is a great deal. Only had it a week so far, but the 4 things I made with turned out so great!
