I used to have a Dell Inspiron and loved the compact, lightweight design. After 4 years it went to the computer graveyard! This laptop is great. I love it. My old battery life was awful. This is twice as long. You must realize you give up a little in order to have the convenience of the size. It does not have a cd drive. For what I do, this works for me.

I am happy to report that this is the perfect computer for a kid, It has just enough bells and whistles for a youngster. My eight year old is happy and if Daughter is happy Daddy is happy. The cost is right and if it is as tough as it is supposed to be then we are good to go.
