I didn't use it in a closet. I have accumulated many pots, baking dishes, lids... Anyway I didn't accumulate more cabinets. I placed this unit in the room next to the kitChen and now I don't have to dig into the cabinets for a pot stuck inside another. This isn't the sturdiest rack, but for what I paid for it I'm satisfied. I put the heavier pots on the top shelf, lids hang from 'S' hooks from the bars and larger, bulkier storage containers are on the bottom shelf. It was relatively easy. Just make sure you lay out the poles. There are different styles and you can easily get them mixed up.

For the price, I certainly can't say that this item isn't worth the purchase if the need arises. However, the wiring on the shelves shelves is pretty weak, and the joints come apart very easily if the unit is moved or shifted at all, so once it's built and placed, each joint must be re-checked, and the unit needs to stay where it is. Best against a wall for extra support (could benefit from additional anchoring to a wall as well) and to use it for the storage of lighter-weight items such as clothing rather than for the storage of heavier equipment, for example. Note distance between "floor" level shelf and your floors if you have carpeting or if there is any risk of water damage in your storage space.

it went together fairly easily an holds the things I need to store. My biggest complaint is that once it is set up, it can't be moved. If you try to move it the tubes will slide out and everything will fall to the bottom. I am thinking about either gluing it, or drilling holes and putting in small screws, since I have to move it periodically. I also bought the cover for it, but it is such a tight fit that I cannot zip it up. All in all if you don't have to move it, its a good product.

Do not buy this. Very wobbly when put together and it cannot hold any weight! We put it in our laundry room as a storage and drying rack. One bottle of laundry detergent and the whole shelf was bowed. The plastic is cheap and the metal seems flimsy. Buyer beware.

Fit great in our 40 year old house . Our regular closets only had one metal bar in each one . Not very useful. these are great . A shelve for everything .
