We had the original Worx string trimmer at 24 volts and it was a pain to use.....the string would never feed correctly and the speed of the string was never fast enough to handle the wilder weeds we needed to cut. After 6 years of use, we decided to get the 32 volt version. What a difference. The string feeds as it should. The speed of the string is now fast enough to handle the toughest of weeds. Great machine and the price was the same as the one we bought over 6 years ago. I highly recommend this trimmer. It just plain worx and it is very light.....a perfect combo.

Plenty of power. I use it mainly to maintain my edges and do some trimming with it, as well. The lithium battery lasts sufficiently long; I usually get 3 sessions with it before recharging. The one thing that wasn't clear in the manual is that the automatic line feed works, when you release the trigger; at least that is what I have found. So, to feed line, you pull the trigger, then release the trigger, and do this until you hear the line being cut-to-length by the built in blade. It is nice and light, but well made and easily adjusted for handle length, trim-head angle and edger / trimmer mode. Nice machine and a good value.

I have 3 trimmers and my Worxs 32 volt gt string trimmer is my favorite. My 75 year old mother will not use anything else! She has mobility problems and the light weight trimmer is great for her. The down side to the product is the string. A lot of the time the string on the spools stick together. That's the only time consuming problem. I'm very upset that worxs discontinued the 32 volt product.

Hate to spend that kind of money on things when there are a ton out there cheaper. But I gave it a shot and couldn't be happier! I caught myself literally saying out loud, "I freakin LOVE this" more than once! PROS: It does All that is says and with EASE. I am 5'2" and 115lbs. This is Very light weight, simple to get going and Very easy to run. The adjustments that can be made are Perfect for anyones size and likings. The battery life is Great! I have a huge yard, I expected to do half, recharge, and take a break. I ended up doing the whole thing at once till I got blisters on my hand and forced me to stop (but not till I finished lol). (Personal note) With Any of these machines, if you have a ton of yard to do, wear gloves! ;) The string is excellent quality! I only had to extend it 3 times and I cut some major weeds as this was my first weed eating job of the year so it was Really put to the test!! CONS: Other than pricy (but worth the money) I've not found Any thus far. WELL DONE WORX, LOVE IT!! (P.S. my previous lithium blk n decker 2.0 is junk compared to this Worx!) ~JewelsRead full review

This is a wonderful garden assistant for me. I love yard work, but am small of stature, and not as strong as I once was. The fact that this is battery powered and light weight made me want a back-up.
