I haven't had this flashlight long enough to say if it's durable or not; but it comes with two different type chargers, and you can also use 3 regular AAA batteries, if you'd like. I really liked that feature! It doesn't shine just a regular circle, that part is different about it and will take me awhile to get use to. It does have the rubber/push down type switch, I don't like that much, as my fingernails are hard on those. It also comes in a cardboard case/box, instead of plastic one. I like to keep everything together and one corner was broken when it arrived. It arrived within the time they said it would.

This is not as bright as the battery type version but a lot cheaper. Unfortunately the charge only lasts a few hours whether I use it or not. I have to keep it plugged in all the time rather than carry it around for the few times I need it. That limits its usefulness to me, since I have other light sources at home.... Nye... Washington DC

I have had this flashlight for awhile now and use it often. It has held up very good. It is bright and holds a charge. I really like the rechargeable battery feature. It comes with a car charger for travel and if you need battery operation, it comes with that option too. I have similar lights that work good also but seem to drain batteries fairly quickly with use. This flashlight is a very good value.

The flashlight is very good. I would give it a 4.5 on a five star rating system. Three things that I would like to see. 1. Warranty, instruction papers, Internet site and a brand name on the light. 2. A better way to select the lighting options. Add two more buttons onto the frame of the flashlight. One for each option, bright, less light and strobe. 3. Have different options such as color lenses, red, green and amber. Or an amber wand that goes over the top of the light to direct traffic. Other than those options it is a great little flashlight. This is speaking from experience as a 30+ retired LEO.
