This is a good tablet, I thought it was better because of the hardware information but it fell short. Lets break it down for the good and the bad. The good, excellent design, bunch of accessories available to purchase, weight, size, able to root it, great touch responsiveness, battery life, memory, videos. The bad, I bought a Dagi pen to take notes on this but the screen is not that advance for you to take fast handwritten notes (compared to tab 3), it works if you handwrite slow on it. Also, when I use the bluetooth, the wifi disconnects, I am not sure if it's a bug of Jelly Bean or a hardware problem. Another bad thing is the propietary connector, there is no standard usb as in many Android devices, this uses it's own Samsung 30 pin connector. There is no upgrade to Jelly Bean 4.3 or even 4.2.2 as of today 10/2013. Conclusion, I bought this table to take notes in college, it's giving me a hard time at classes when I have to draw or take notes with a pen (math graphics). I bought a bluetooth keyboard to by more efficient, but this thing disconnects me from the internet. For the price it's a great deal compared to other tablet.Read full review
I have always loved Samsung products. it was really easy to set this tablet up how I like it and does everything it describes. I like how its a nice combo between my phone and my computer. can use it on the go or just around the house. I do wish the otter box was little lighter but I can deal with the extra weight for the safety factor.

At almost half the price of the similar-looking Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, the Tab 2 performs gracefully, comes with ample storage space to harbor your vast trove of media, and generally makes Google's latest software more accessible. Still, despite its reliable performance, it seems to us that Samsung didn't do enough to effectively overpower the allure of the Kindle Fire's tidy ecosystem. Without access to a well-curated content library, the Tab 2 (7.0) doesn't really stand out amid an ever deepening line of Android 4.0 devices, and it will have to work that much harder to win the hearts of consumers looking for a 7-inch tablet (or just a really inexpensive one). All that said, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better ICS tablet at this price. So if that newly minted OS is what your wallet's angling for, go ahead: take the plunge and call this media-minded slate your own. Had Samsung chopped off an extra $50 and put this on even ground with the Kindle Fire, though, it might have had an even clearer winner on its hands. Just wonderful device! I use it as cell phone and as tablet. Use good bluetooth headset for calls. Bought it after 2 years of using Galaxy Tab P1000. The pluses - 7 inch is ideal size (for my opinion) - not too big to be a phone and pretty large to be a tablet. - Android 4.0 behaves much better than 2.3, the same battery capacity as in P1000, but much more working time. Nice support of bluetooth. - Sure there are faster and more powerful devices but they cost twice more than P3100. So, the PRICE is the greatest plus. - Weight and design. Lighter than P1000 at least, and better design. The phone speaker is a good idea. The minuses - It's hard to find one. There's no support for TV out. I discovered it after I bought the tablet. So I really advice to buy this device. I'm very satisfied with it. Best wishes to SAMSUNG and eBay and all their customers!Read full review
THE TAB 2 7.0 SEEMS TO BE WORKING GREAT. I HAVE A TAB 2 10.1. I WAS WANTING TO SEE IF I COULD USE IT FOR JUST SIGNATURE ONLY AND PHOTOS ONLY FOR MY BUSINESS. I REALLY THINK I CAN WHEN I HAVE TIME TO EXPLORE. THE TAB 2 10.0 IS ALITTLE TOO B IG FOR PICTURE TAKING FOR ME. I ALSO HAVE THE GALAXY NOTE 2 INWHICH I LIKE VERY MUCH BUT IT DOES NOT GIVE ME A BETTER PICTURE AS THE TAB 2 10.0 AND TAB 2 7.0. I DO WISH WE COULD ALSO WORK WITH WINDOWS 7 & 8 DIRECT INSTEAD OF HAVING TO ADD EXTRA APPS. ALSO IT DOES NOT GIVE YOU SOME OF TRHE OFFICE SOFTWARE LIKE ACCESS, PUB LISHER. I WILL LIVE WITH IT FOR NOW UNTIL FIND SOME THIG BETTER. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN WINDOWS TABLET AT THIS TIME.
