I needed a new mixer my KitchenAid was over 10 years used a lot but needed something with more power for bread making tired of mixer walking on counter. The power is incredible 800 watts made a double batch French bread with little effort at level 3 for knead love the timer will use a lot. Gorgeous impressive looking didn’t realize I got a refurbished from manufacturer concern with 90 day only return but can’t imagine giving it up will take the chance.only thing I notice that the bowl is nice with the shape and handles but seemed harder to clean

Horrible under-powered machine with quickly burning AC motor, avoid even if you find it for $50. Bought it with high hopes but it just burned during first use of regular dough mixing. Eventually had to buy a Kitchenaid 7QT which actually is worth every dollar spent. Avoid this thing and if you buy you will see why Cuisinart no longer makes this junk.

This is one very well made heavy duty mixer. It outperforms any I have ever had in my four decades of baking. It is durable, actually very heavy in weight and is a big machine therefore it can be rather cumbersome and unwieldy to move about. If your countertop space or storage space is limited that will be a problem too. I like how easy it is to clean and the ease of using the three accessories (Chef's whisk, mixing paddle and dough hook) for the tilt-back head. It has a very large 5.5 Quart stainless steel mixing bowl with handles on each side for your hands to grip it well while pouring the batter. It comes with a clear plastic splatter guard with an oval flanged opening for adding ingredients which has come in handy. It can tackle large batches of cake batter or bread dough and never bogs down through the mixing process. A nice readable 12 speed dial located where you can see it well and use it to determine speeds. It has a great 15 minute timer that automatically shuts it off, something that I use more than I thought I would. You can buy other attachments for this machine (and are sold seperately) as it already has the power outlets underneath the top and front covers. One is for the high speed Blender and Food Processor it's at the rear on top, a mid speed for the juicer is on the top front, the slow speed is for the meat grinder or the Pasta Maker located in the front of the mixer head. This will be my last mixer, I know it will perform admirably for many years to come.Read full review
Very heavy machine that has an 800 watt motor that can handle anything. We love how the attachments come off so easily and how well they are built. If you start the mixer on the highest setting it will cycle through every speed until it gets there and keeps you from throwing out of the bowl.Only drawbacks are that you will have to buy attachments new as these are fairly new. So there is not to many deals on ebay lol.I looked at all the kitchenaid mixers and this model compares to their professional model. If this isn't big enough for you cuisnart does make a bigger model. I would purchase this model again and again but i bet i never have to.
I love my mixer. It has a modern look and feel. It is more than powerful enough for my baking needs. It is loaded In features including the bowl shield and a timer. The only thing I do not like about it is that I felt I needed to add a surge protector with an on off switch to plug it into. The mixer has push button switches and if the on button accidentally gets pushed the mixer will come on and the timer also stays lighted at all times. I just plugged it into the little multi plug and turn the power off at the multi switch. It's just an added precaution for me. But I didn't like the timer (not a clock) lighted 24 hours a day even without the danger of accidentally turning it on. Now it's all good. Flip the switch, have power and push the push button on switch. This mixer is more powerful and cost less than other famous brands. I rate it an "A" but would be A+ if it wasn't for what I consider a design flaw with the items I mentioned above. Others might not have a problem with it. But I feel it needs addressing.Read full review
