Set-up was easy. The positioners for the back wheel clamped securely to hold the bike in place. I tired out very quickly after the first few uses, but now have been able to stay going a little longer. Other people complained about the noise, but it's acceptable to me. After all, it's out in the open, without any type of noise insulation. I use a small stepstool to get on the bike, and a front wheel rest to raise its position; otherwise, it feels like you're going downhill. Yes, I would recommend it.

Purchased a bike stand from Factory wholesale Direct, LLC as a Christmas present for my wife. The caps you place on the axle end nuts as per directions that lock bike into place broke while she was riding it. The bike fell off the mount and threw my wife into the nearest wall. I thought this would be a good present and this was what she wanted as cycling is one of the best ways for someone with rheumatoid arthritis to exercise. I tried calling the company today and got a voice recording. We will see how that goes. e durham

I've used this trainer now for a couple of weeks. I have been happy with it so far. I have hooked up both a hybrid and a road bike and both performed well, although I preferred the hybrid better on it. The gearing mechanism works well but the stand was a bit crooked and needed a bit of fixing to make it just right but that was easy. Overall for the price, I am very impressed with this trainer.

This bike trainer is was fairly easy to assemble. It only takes a few steps and the manual, though not super detailed, is more than enough to put this equipment together. It is lightweight, portable, and feels very durable. Overall, a great value and I highly recommend it. Some tips: - I felt the dial does not vary much the resistance. But that's no problem if your bike has a good range of gears. Just shift gears and use the dial to fine tune to your desired effort level. - I recommend getting a couple of zip tie wraps to attach the dial wires to your bike and avoid any chance of getting it entangled when you pedal. - As the manufactures says, mountain tires will generate significant vibration and noise. But it's quite tolerable if you place the trainer on top of a rubber mat or any surface that can absorb vibration, even on wood floor. It's definitely quieter if you have road tires. Read full review

Works well, very solid, relatively quiet. It has a good range of resistance. I used a mountain bike with a trainer tire. At 10-15 MPH on the highest resistance it provides a good intense 12-15 minute workout for me.
