I had owned a 350 QX version one in the past and had wanted a newer version for a camera platform. Earlier versions had problems with wi-fi interference between the GoPro cameras and the radio resulting in lost control. In spite of copper foil shielding and extending the Quadcopter's antenna, I was still having problems. I matched this QX3 with a yuneec cgo2+ camera, which I bought on ebay, and it flew and behaved beautifully. No problems binding it to my DX9 radio. I now have remote tilt control for the camera and is able to start and stop the camera remotely as well as receiving a live view on my smart phone or ipad. I also like being able to change certain flight parameters using the pc interface cable and software. In previous crashes of the older 350QX, I have only lost propellers (when crashed on grass surfaces). So, I feel that the Quad-copter is fairly durable for its intended purpose.Read full review

Just what I was looking for. The Blade 350QX3 flies great, I don't use agility mode because I have crashed my other Blade in that mode before but AP mode, stability mode and return to home are great. I bought this one in order to remove all of the parts and build them into a micro heli 350QX and would recommend this to any one that loves the control of the Blade 350 qx3. Thanks

Overall a nice camera drone. Easy to use and if you buy one with the CGO2 camera, a great value. The CGO2 is a great gimbal and camera combo and is superior to buying a gimbal and Go Pro individually. At least for use on a Blade 350 QX or Chroma. You don't need to read fine print to know that BNF, Bind and Fly, means no transmitter included. That kind of review should be discarded. Some of these quads do have issues. Mines worked perfect but 1 out of 10 or so will have issues with the GPS and the result could be a crash or the quad just flies away out of sight never to be seen by you again. The newer Blade Chroma doesn't seem to have these GPS problems but it's a more expensive quad.

The Blade 350 QX3 is good flying, easy to control, quad ,that unfortunately is made from very brittle plastic and WILL break very easily. The replacement body is inexpensive but very labor intensive to replace. I have replaced the body 3 times due to a motor pod cracking. One of the replacements cost me the control board as one LED wire kissed a screw and shorted out the whole board. Do yourself a favor and buy the DJI Phantom, it may cost more, but will be less expensive in the end!

Enjoy using this quad and what it can do. Need to be careful in winds 15-20 mph and fly without GPS. Be careful pushing quad with GPS on, and get ready to go full manual, fly away likely due to pilot error pushing its limits.
