I was a little skeptical in the beginning due to some negative feedback about mouse pointer. However, this mouse pointer turns out to be fine even though it is a little bit slower than my ASUS rog laptop. I believe because of the refresh rate of the monitor. condition of this monitor is excellent. it looks new. shipping speed is fast. I ordered it Tuesday night, 12/08/2015. Received it on Saturday 12/12/2015. I could have received a day before it, but I was not home for the first delivery attempt. To be clear, I am using an ASUS ROG with GTX 560M which does not support the 4K. So I adjusted the resolution to 1440p. screen looks very good and clear. AN IMPORTANT update. I found out why the mouse pointer is dragging with monitor. it is because refresh rate is 30 Hz when it's at full 3840x2160 resolution and 60 Hz at 1080p.Read full review

this monitor has a huge problem with mouse lag that renders it almost unusable. from researching the problem I found that there is unfortunately nothing that can be done to fix the problem. I tried every suggestion available including a very expensive high dpi mouse with no effect. Others have said there is no fix. very disappointed. I have Dell Computers and have always had great luck with them. I had a high level of trust with the brand. this is however a big fail.

I wish I would have never ordered these. Ignore the fact that I was only delivered one, and then told the rest were sold out (I'm waiting still for a used one at a slight dsicount), these monitors are terrible with lag. The picture? GREAT! If you only need to use this as a place holder for something big, or its a static display that isn't used that much then it's a great deal. If you use the mouse on this screen even once, you're going to hate it. The refresh rate of this monitor is the lowest of all the monitors this size, this causes the mouse to slowly stagger across the screen. I have a 2GB Graphics card too and it was hooked up through HDMI, not VGA on a 512mb card like some people have spoken to. What was my solution to fixing it? Sell them and make a profit - that's it. I tried everything. Lower resolution, lower refresh rate with only one monitor (to not tax the GPU in hopes it would fix it). I even screwed with settings that no man should ever touch. The one thing I did NOT try was a bigger, more dedicated GPU like the 960/970 with multiple display ports.... only because I felt like spending another $250 (minimum) on a car like that defeated the purpose of buying monitors at such a discount... no wonder they were so cheap. Is the monitor itself sexy? Yes. Does it swivel on 3-axis making viewing easy? Yes. Does it have a TON of connectors? Yes. Does it do DP passthrough? Yes. Does the mouse lag suck so bad I boxed it up after two days of tinkering with it because I use the computer so much it was a deal breaker? YES YES YES YES YES! Back to my Dell S2307Ws that have yet to fail me.Read full review
I purchased this to utilize with CAD, CGI, Program development...Ect. For the price I am amazed with the picture and options,"multiple display ports/types and 3.0 USB ports". This was NOT intended for gaming, but rather business oriented. It did surprisingly hold its own at full 4K but you had better have a top end system, "WITH A VIDEO CARD THAT WAS BUILT FOR 4K". I personally am using a GTX980 and love it!!! Nevertheless, I did and would recommend buying a 4K monitor built for gaming needs. Acer, Asus, and Samsung all have great options, but be prepared to pay 3 times as much. In the world of 4K you get what you pay for.
After a year of use the screen started to blackout. I looked it up and it is a major issue with this monitor. But, Dell has a great warranty, even though I wasn't the original owner, they honored it and sent me a refurbished one that has been working fine since. But, the new one has trouble going into power save mode.
