I've got his product last year but didn't get a chance to try it out until this winter. For being an electric it has quite a bit of power and since I have a small driveway and sidewalk it really came in handy when we got inches of snow this winter and if you feel the need to remove the snow after it starts to get dark, the light on the front helps you to see your way. Just plug it in and go.

Good product. I've used it once so far on light snow. Worked well, but I wasn't too happy about the heavy guage power cord that I needed to maneuver around with.

I have used a Toro CR-20 single stage 2-cycle gas powered snow blower from 1989 to date. I received the Snow Joe 18" with 15-Amp motor in January 2014. The 2013/2014 winter has been the coldest temps in 35 years and snow amounts totaling about 20+ inches total. During the last few snow storms in January 2014 the storms dropped about 8+ inches each storm. The Snow Joe was simply amazing in how it tackled clearing my two car driveway and 16'x18' deck area. It took some various attempts in handling the trailing power cord, but found working with one push of about 5' and then working from side to side worked best to keep power cord out of the way. It is very quiet and no louder then running a standard vacuum. Love the push button start and no more pull starting. Plus, you avoid the smelly order you get on you from a gas powered snow blower. Electricity is much cheaper and better to use then buying expensive gasoline and oil. Virtually no maintenance to deal with the Snow Joe.Read full review

works great, just used it for first time with 8" snow. the snow was dry so am anxious for a wetter snow to see how well it will work. The only issue is that the light doesnt work, but not too huge a deal.

The snow Joe works pretty good. Strong motor and cleans good. The snow shot is a little sloppy, but that is part of moving alot of snow quickly. Haven't moved any heavy snow yet, but I think it will do just fine. Good purchase.
