I bought this laptop knowing full well that refurbished meant that it was not a new laptop, but I had at least expected that Newegg would at least take the necessary time to properly service the laptop and fix whatever problem there might be. When I got the laptop, everything looked perfectly fine until I turned the device on. When I turned it on, it never went past the opening loading screen. I had to work on it for roughly 6 hours to finally get it to start, and even now I have to open it in safe mode. Although it does "work" now, the fact that I had to spend so much time fixing it myself is very disappointing. There should be an expectation of functionality when purchasing refurbished devices, and Newegg failed that expectation.

I thought the laptop was great until I plugged in the laptop and it said "Plugged in and not charging" Needless to say the laptop had a no returns policy so at first I thought I was stuck with a laptop I had just spent $370 for. I called up Acer Certified Support and they told me when the laptop says plugged in and not charging that the motherboard is bad and that I should return it back to where I had purchased it from. I called up Newegg support and they gladly accepted my return with a prepaid shipping label and a fast refund! Overall these laptops are not in working condition and worthless since they cannot even charge while in use. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAPTOP OR BRAND AS A REFURB.

Laptop looks great. However, the battery has a problem, everytime I plug the charger in, it does not charge properly. Sometimes it says "plugged in not charging". I really disappointed. Touch pad is really noisy.

Laptop was refurbished and it felt that way. I bought 4 of them. The mouse touch pad is not responsive as I was used to. (lagging or not moving at all). One Computer had a scratch. Installed Software did not accept the Store App from Microsoft. Tec support from Acer could not fix it. I tried to install a new Window verion from the thumb drive. The problem I ran into it: missing drivers for the thumb drive. depite downlading the newest drivers onto the Thumb drive, it did not accept it. The solution is to backup the system to a USB Thumb drive and reinstall it from there. After that it worked fine.

After a few, fairly expensive Acer products that failed within the first 40 days of light use, I have learned to never again buy another Acer product. The company has become very cheap, and their quality control seems to have become useless.
