My Surface works great for what I want, I check I email and FB while watching TV in the evening and it works great for that. Responds quick, boots fast and love the pen as my fingers sometimes hit the wrong thing. I do plan on upgrading soon, but, this one will still be the one for emails and FB in the evening. The screen has always been clear and crisp. It was used when I bought it so the battery doesn't last more than 3-4 hours, I just charge it or keep it plugged in when I know I going to be on it awhile.

Amazingly , the item is a Surface pro2 128G& stylus! Thanks! But ,the condition is not so good as claimed. It's a second hand one after seller refurbished with a crash in the top right corner, and two scratches. The battery is with more than 5% loss . The screen is not fit with plastic frame.

Product has very-fast "PC" processer with Intel powered. Includes Full version of Windows 8 (not RT, Windows Mobile... etc) Full HD resolution screen gives wonderful satisfaction, kickstand makes my workplace more comfortable. Runs out most PC programs and also Light 3D Games. Using a OneNote with ProPen is very useful when you are using on university or office. No problem with Powerpoint or Word documents, this includs Office 365. But low battery time and heavy weight (It's lower than laptops but heavier than most tablet) is an dislike point of this product. Battery life can be extended by "Surface PowerCover" but, If you are going to use this while moving or walking, heavy weight can be top disadvantage. Microsoft has released Surface Pro 3 with Longer battery life and lighter weight, but at this point Surface Pro is a great value for the money. (i5 model of Surface Pro 3 costs doubled price of this product) If you are annoyed at laptop's heavy weight and portability, It can be the best replaceable for your laptop. But If you're finding truely portable tablet, move on to Baytrail based Windows Tablet.Read full review
Best replacement for an ultrabook or notebook. It takes some getting use to since I've never used windows 8 before. But it's nice to be able to switch from desktop mode to tile mode. Has bluetooth so keyboard and mouse is easy to set up. I wish it had a true hdmi output instead of the mini display port. (ordered a cable and it didn't work, not sure if it's the cable or my unit, have another cable coming so I'll test it again) Also my LG smart TV with miracast/WiDi would not recognize this device, not sure why since surface pro does have wireless display using miracast/Widi. So again I'm not sure if it's the device or TV have no way to test it since I don't have another smart TV around or another surface pro to test it. And most of concerns is the battery life. I can get about 3 1/2 hrs on average on this computer. Not great but it's average compared to other netbooks or notebooks out there with a 4 cell battery. Overall I like the idea of having the most portable computer cable to running all or most software available for a PC. It would be perfect if they could shave off another pound or 1/2 a pound but I can live with it.Read full review
This product is not for everybody. It's heavier and more expensive than your average tablet device, the battery lifetime also last much less than other tablets out there. If all you need is a device to browse the internet, check your e-mail, chat and things like that, then this is not for you. Buy the RT version instead, or buy an Ipad/Galaxy Tab/Other. The important thing to recognize about this device is that it's more a laptop than it is a tablet in my opinion. There is a reason why it consume more battery, weights and cost more; the hardware underneath is that much more powerful and you can actually use this as your primary laptop device. The most obvious user group for this product I think is corporate users who travel a lot and need an ultra-portable laptop. It comes with Windows 8 Pro and can be upgraded to Enterprise for all those Windows Enterprise features that corporations use. The thing I miss is a way to connect it to a docking station. I would also have liked to add a SIM card for 3G/4G.Read full review
