Purchased this unit for my wife. I personally like Asus products. I am not a zombie like some that feel that must go with certain brands based on name association. Asus makes great and reputable products just as well as any other. This particular unit does not skimp on internal and the ability to expand internal memory. Many manufacturers omit expandable memory for bigger profits by only offering "16 or 32" GB internal memory which isn't very much. Offering expandable memory allow for more storage which is an excellent option.

I had a TF101 and liked it, but upgrading to the TF700T was a great decision. The speed of the 700 over the 101 is very noticeable. And the HP display makes everything so much clearer than the lesser display on the 101. I am very pleased with the 700. It makes games faster and clearer. Videos on Netflix and on my Plex app are also much better. I also enjoy the fact that I got the 64 Gig unit instead of a 32 Gig unit. I am enjoying the enhanced storage capacity as well. And I like the repositioning of the headphone jack to the lower left side instead of the upper right as on the 101. I also like the way the power button has been relocated to the top left and back of the tablet from the top left side on the 101. I was always bumping it and putting my tablet into sleep mode. That was extremely frustrating while game playing. And the volume buttons have been moved from the just below the power button on the 101, to the top right back of the 700. Much more convenient. The 700 is also a tad thinner and has better feel in my hand(s) as opposed to the 101 and its sharper feeling edges. Since I bought the tablet used and it was no longer under warranty, I unlocked the tablet with Asus's unlock tool. I then rooted the tablet and flashed a customer ROM on the unit. It runs Uber fast and has enhanced features over a normal 700. That makes an awesome tablet even more awesome!Read full review
This was the smartest purchase I made in 2012, buying my Asus Infinity TF700T 10.1 64GB WiFi Tablet. I will and have gone head to head with the Apple IPad (actually my kid sister's IPAD was only a 32G) my tablet is easy to use including the camera which has not had one bad shot yet! The colors on the display are very real life, but I think the overall feature was it's price, 600-700 cheaper than and Ipad with comparable memory! In these hard economic times, quality and price are mitigating factors in making this type of investment. I look forwar to Asus PadFone 2 release in the USA.
I found this an excellently-designed product. It was dispatched promptly and arrived in perfect condition. It was my first experience with the Android operating system. I found it necessary also to acquire the dedicated keyboard to facilitate input and a 16GB. S.D. to enhance memory. My only criticisms of the product itself are (1) the low speaker output at full volume and (2) the number of puerile applications, games and widgets pre-loaded. My main gripe would be with the Android system itself - difficult to get into to clear out the rubbish and stop applications from hi-jacking processor resources.
What is more that is required to be said. My view is no different from the many raving reviews that are made by many websites. It was between the latest Samsung Galxaxy 10.1 and the Infinity; I am glad I chose the TF700t! It's fast and battery along with the keyboard lasted many hours. It would great if it had come with the 3G feature (4/5 rating) but a great product nevertheless. I highly recommend this little toy!
