bought this computer as a backup after my Toshiba S55 ($900) died on me. maybe its the difference between wholesale vs. ebay, but i bought my T440p with 16 gb ram/500 gb hdd for 370 and its like i never lost my old computer! I guess the screen isnt 1960 x 1080, but the screen has an anti-reflective glaze so you can't see your lonely reflection in the screen. There's no numberpad. the touchpad isnt the best (feels kinda cheap), but everything else feels top notch. Never had to use the lil thinkpad nub, honestly its too foreign to me. Finally, the biggest draw to me, the computer's ease of disassembly, is true to its word. I recommend it as a good browsing/casual gaming computer.

The good. Bought it for my son to be his "all around" computer. Added 4 gigs. He uses it to do his research, programming, e-mail, documentation and some gaming. Still he did not ask me to single question. This means it has no problems! I also have 15.6 Thinkpad with Quad core 4th gen. I7. This one doesn't look any slower in comparison with I7. The not so good. 1. There is no HDD lights. 2. I could not find the functional keys to turn the touchpad on/off. Have to go through the control panel.
Highest quality computers and laptops. I had mine on for literally years without turning off regularly, analyzing, working, etc I WENT THROUGH SO MANY OTHER LAPTOPS THIS IS THE BEST. IBM Became Lenovo, and IBM has computers in the international space station, that was the seller
