ordered this knowing the screen had a few cracks in the upper right corner....but the price was great and the crack is now covered with black electrical tape. This is an awesome IPad that I really only wanted for reading my Kindle books on a larger screen. I love it!

Upgraded from Ipad 1st generation to the 4th generation. I don't believe it is worth the money to constantly upgrade for minor improvements every single year. That said, there are some huge upgrades between 1st and 4th generations. Processor screen, clarity of screen, 4G speed, camera upgrades and the slim package are only just a couple of the amazing features of this iPad. Apple's reliability of their products are so commonplace now that people tend to take it for granted. I have several Apple products and have to say that their customer service, no hassle simplicity to use, reliability and quality of their products keep me amazed especially when I have to transition from my Mac to the PC at work everyday.
The New iPad is all it is built up to be. I owned the iPad 2 and i upgraded to the iPad 3 when it was released and I love it. its works just like it is supposed to all the time every time. The retina display is beautiful. I carry my iPad to work with me every day because I use it for my small business to keep track of customers and the iPad has truly changed my life. I am able to organize my life in a way that I never could before. I am fairly new to Apple but it is easy to see why any person who I have ever met that has an Apple computer or iPad is so happy with the product,because Im certainly hooked myself. Once you get acclimated to the IOS operating system (and its not difficult) to do) you will be sold too.
This is the second refurbished iPad I have purchased and am more than pleased with both. Can't tell from brand new.
