This is a fine example of a typical Carver product, very hard to beat at it's price point. This amplifier has the same sound quality as the higher end models, can be bridged mono to 350 watts, making it a perfect center channel amplifier to match up with the M-1.5t or similiar models. This amp is also very small, light weight and runs cool to the touch, even after prolonged use. Three thumbs up!!! Great job Mr. Carver Sir, I salute you!! I guess to be fair, the only down side to this amp is the cheezy terminal connectors that only accept small guage, bare wire. 4.5 out of 5 stars.
I purchased this amp to use while my Carver M1.5t is being repaired, it is rated at a 120 wpc or 450w bridged mono at 8 ohm, though this does not have the power of the 1.5t it sounds amazing even at high volumes. I'd planned on selling this when my 1.5t is rebuilt and back in the rack but I'll be keeping it to run some studio monitors

Though it would provide power for a pair of AR9LS speakers. Even though the the amp is rated for 4 ohms it starts triggering the overload light at a very low sound level asnd the sound just breaks up. Hooked a modified ST-70 4 ohn ourput jacks and the speakers sound great. Word of caution........ There's no way to know if your speakers while react in an ugly manner with your new amp. Amp seems to work fine on all the 8 ohm speakers I have.
Awesome amplifier!!!!

This is not an easy plug and play amp by any mean. This is the pro stuff. At first without any equalizer it was not produce any decent sound, but after plug in with DBS equalizer, it sound aaaaaaamazing. I would recommend this ampp to anyone who knows how to set up a pro system any day.
