The few shots I have made with the Mamiya 80mm have been quite sharp. The small size of the lens makes for a light weight kit with the GFX100s.

These cameras are really underpriced. I've shot with a lot of different medium format cameras, and these really quality. They don't have the artificial collectors inflation of brands like Rollei and Hassleblad (although those are also excellent cameras).
One great MF macro lens, gets the job done for the price! Gets great close-ups shots and can be used as a normal lens as well. If you need an standard lens for the 645 PRO then just get this one instead of the f2.8, as it will do the same job + macro purpose. The 120mm macro is NICE but if you don't need a lengthier standard or macro then this 80mm/4 lens is the ONE!
Their isn't anything to dislike about any Mamiya lenses. For its affordability and quality in sharpness their has to be an appreciation for Mamiya's product's. The quality in the N series coatings of the Mamiya 645 series lenses is amazing. Incredible detail can be discovered with these lenses and produce time and time again for many years if well kept. This purchase was a necessity for professional quality found in Medium format Photography.
Today I tried to use it to focus ring, it was loose and it came out of the lens barrel, as I was disappointed .
