It's not perfect (what game is?), but when people say they still very much enjoyed it, I now believe them. After playing through Mass Effect 1,2, & 3 multiple times and with all DLC, I can honestly say it's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. It's gotten a lot of 8/10s, that's pretty accurate. Of course I started the game after installing all patches, first...

This company made the same evaluation of buyers many companies do today, just push out an unfinished product, then fix along the way after they have the consumers money in hand. This new Mass Effect is fun but has tons of glitches, like old school glitches, like floating characters, vehicles getting stuck,.. silly stuff like that. One the other hand you can see great potential in this game and it kills you to see a game half done. My advice,..... wait till ALL the glitches are fix before you buy this new, if curious like i was, buy it used so you can see what i mean by glitches galore.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is a good game, though it has its share of flaws. Mostly technical glitches and wonky animation. The games storyline is a little overambitious, with an abundance of side missions to distract you. The menu system could have used a bit more refinement, as I found myself constantly scrolling through pages and pages to find what I needed. That being said, it's very easy to lose yourself in the story, and is well worth a purchase. There's definitely enough to keep you busy for dozens of hours, and that's not including the multiplayer. Much like Mass Effect 3, the multiplayer is a wave-based mode, with various objectives to complete. As far as horde-style matches go, it's one of the best there is. The game allows you to purchase randomized upgrade packs with real world currency, but you can also earn them in game by completing matches. With the amount of content in the game, Mass Effect: Andromeda is well worth the price.Read full review

Although the fate and status of Shepard is not addressed in much detail, the game and all of it's many interesting sidequests allow close to 200 hours of gameplay, providing a compelling storyline and engrossing overall Mass Effect storyline development. There are some occasional glitches but generally it is solid, stable, high res gameplay with good music and fun plot developments with far ranging choice consequences.

I don't get why the bad reviews ... The face animation could have been way better and more realistic . I agree. However during game play your not even going to notice cause this is a fps game. The character customization were better more specific on ME 2)3... but the graphics detail and HDR are far superior in Andromeda which makes it worth it IMO . Way more realistic . Menus screen and layout take a little getting used to along with weapon and suit upgrades but that being said .... The story line I could car less about ... This is a fun alien space fps game . There's is alot of scene dialogue but you can skip through quickly and make a choice for response . Bought this new/ never played and won on a bid and got it for a steal of a price for price for deluxe edition . The game is 3 years old but graphic open world look rich and detailed and bold right colors and lighting effects .I've Been playing for about hour and a half and I really like it. If I wanted to care about a story line plot mainly I'd just watch a regular movie o. Blu Ray or something . This is a video game that's all it is . critics over think and criticize over ridiculous things . Update improved face animations some and squashed bugs like with any new game release.
