It's a little flimsy, especially the quick release attachment, but I have a small camcorder so it works fine. In high winds it might give some grief but I don't know. It smells, like super cheap plastic from China would - gasoline? uranium? Not sure lol other than that - it's super tall and it works! Not a bad tripod to start with..
