I bought a fender A type that goes for maybe 180 new. Was okay but wanted an upgrade and a more mellow town. This one is nice. its quieter and has a softer sound. I was worried it would have a lot of feed back when plugged in but it is quite usable if played in a band. tone control is useful if you switch to guitar and mandolin to help control the high treble of the mandolin. The finish is very light and it looks great. The little book is basic but that's fine ,i just want basic chords and scales to peek at once in awhile. I'm fine with my 320 spent

This is a really nice instrument! It really projects itself well even when it isn't plugged in. The appearance is flawless and the set-up was impeccable! I have no regrets what so ever with this purchase!
