This is a great game. Other than some scrolling backgrounds which the nes could not do this looks like a top notch late nes game. It reminds me of ducktales, Wizards and warriors, castlevania, megaman and mario bros 3 rolled into 1 game and it works very well. The controls are great. You move through levels like an old school platformer wielding a shovel as your tool, weapon and pogo stick. You also get projectiles as well and magic that gives you short term fire power to invincibility. The music like graphics are straight out the nes era. Very 8-bit nes style. I know people use the generic term 8-bit even though a game may look 8-bit or 16-bit retro each 8 and 16 bit system had a different look. This is spot on nes style, graphics, music and gameplay. If you love nes style games this is worth a buy, heck if you just love good 2d games it's worth a buy.Read full review
