As someone who is an aging video gamer, I play games for nostalgia or challenges, but on a casual basis. I remember when this movie came out in 1997. Bruce Willis was younger, so was Milla Jovovich and the late Ian Holm was great as comedy relief as he played a temple priest guiding Corbin, (Willis) and the hope for the world, ( Jovovich) as the fifth and final element to save the galaxy as we know it. As I wind down my playing days, the nostalgia kicks in more and I play for achievement at a pace that agrees with my schedule and as I said a more casual sped of play. I’m also a kid of the eighties and a generation X person. We’re not the youngest people on the block, so the shows, movies we grew up with are meaningful to us. Nuff said.

Really stretching the Playstation processor to its limits, "The Fifth Element" is a great, fun game to spend your time with. Play as either LeeLoo or Corbin, and follow an alternate storyline in the fifth Element universe. Not an easy game to master, it takes some time to know the movement controls, like Tomb Raider did when we first started that one. Great, sceneic graphics from atop the skyscrapers, a wide variety of weopons, hand to hand fighting and unlockable secrets make this one of the best PS1 "movie based" action games. And includes lots of actual movie footage as rewards for completeing levels and finding secrets!!!
I played it once a long time ago. I was a huge fan of the movie and I was siked that a game came out for playstation. So I had to buy it! The Graphics are to not unbelievable but, still entertaining. Its cool how they fit some of the story line a movie clips to go in accordance with the game.
Works like expected!
