like the review title says, what you see is exactly what you're getting. Some good looking fires and blazes mixed with the typical FMV gameplay. Like most, the acting is a mixed bag and you'll see some of the same clips and audio samples while searching rooms that are empty. On the other hand, there aren't too many games like this, there are two difficulty settings which adds a little to the replay value, and the acting isn't all that terrible. If you find FMV games interesting, you'll probably want to at least take a look at this one if you find it for under $10. The 32X cd version looks pretty good if you have a 32X, eliminating some of the grain and making the picture look sharper and much more vibrant. If you don't have a 32X, both versions come with the game so don't worry; the regular Sega CD plays alright too and is actually full screen.Read full review
It's all of the power of the Sega 32x with the eye-popping "Full Motion Video" of the Sega CD combined to make a game that will bore you to death in about 5 minutes. This "game" might be ok as a fire-fighter basic training tool, but for entertainment, it's a dud. From what I've seen so far, there are 2 things that you get in this game: Sections of grainy video with bad acting, and sections of watching grainy video of a house on fire with options to turn right or left. Sometimes you'll make an unlucky decision of what way to go, and you'll get a scene of a bad actor yelling at you. Nothing about this game is fun.
This is a really badly design game. The premise is great but it just doesn't execute well. Try your best to survive playing this game for more than 5 minutes at a time.
