Pac-Man came to the Turbo Grafx 16 with this side scrolling adventure game. Dodge ghosts and other obstacles, eat power pills to devour the ghosts. This game is fun especially for younger crowds. Choose from two different controller styles, button control and lever control. Lever control is preferred as this is the controller style that everyone is used to. This game also has debug features and cheats that can be obtained from the internet. Great game to add to your Turbo Grafx 16 collection!
The only thing I found strange was that the warp zone are missing in certain places but the game makes up for that by letting you pick stages in the beginning. So when pushing the tree stump for the warp, Pac Man just flips upside down. I love the music and graphics! It's a great game that's challenging but a new experience for Pac Man fans.
I do not particularly care for this game much at all. It was not what I was expecting. I believe there is a Pac Land 2 that I have played or something of the such and I would have rated that much better than this one! The game still keeps the feel of the ghost and being able to eat them but the graphics are dull, sound is lame and repeatative, some of the jumps are hard to pull off.
