I purchased this game for my son who is an avid video game player. He originally had the same game back in 1998 and loved it but as he got older he began to move on to bigger things in the video sphere. Recently he began to get interested again in the GameDay series and came back to the '98 video. He is happy all over again and the quality of the game as well as the graphics are as fresh and clear as they were 11 years ago. The party who owned the game took excellent care of it and my son is quite pleased. As far as buying video games I found it appropriate agewise when I bought the original game for him when he was 10 years old and it is just as entertaining at age 21. I would suggest this game to anyone.
This is my favorite of all of the Gameday titles. I had it years ago and would play it for hours. Once I got the Easter eggs for it, I cracked myself up. The Gameplay is easy and you can make the Lions halfway decent bu using said easter eggs.
Gameday took the football crown in 1997 with a brand new 3-d engine and innovative gameplay. Madden wouldn't catch up for another year.

I purchased this for my grandson and he loves it. He is a special need child and absoultly loves playing sony games. He is quite good and this is an easy game for him to handle. It is perfect for for any child, however, I highly recommend this game for any special needs person that has a playstation.
