An excellent port of the PC classic. Cannon fodder on the 3DO is the kind of game you can pick up and play at any time for just a mission or not possibly hours of fun. The controls are easy to figure out and intuitive, with the mouse or game pad. The graphics are simple in a good way boasting great colors and varied robust environments. The music is sparse but quality as are the sound effects. Overall cannon fodder is an excellent addition to the 3DO library.

I bought Cannon Fodder when it came out for the 3do over 10 years ago. The game is still fun, much like command and conquer. The game has you command troops where to go and how to get there in an effort to defeat the enemy and meet your objective for the level. How you do early in the game has a direct impact on how easy it is to finish the game. Cutesy graphics aside, this game is plain fun for both kids and adults.
