This is a game that like the title says, mixes elements from Arkanoid and the adventure aspect of Pinball Quest for the Nintendo. The player controls two bars at the bottom of the screen and bounces a ball up to hit the bricks and enemies that are blocking the path. As the player break the bricks, the screen scrolls up and allows the player to progress. At the end of the stage there is a boss. Personally, I like the concept and the game on a whole is a lot of fun, although a little more challenging than it needs to be. The colors are bright and the music is pretty good too. I also like the zipper effect when going between menu screens. This is definitely a game that you should at least give a play.
As graphics and game mechanics go, this game is quite obsolete and highly outdated. However, for pure fun and also simple game play for the younger crowd, this game will not disappoint. Designed for the Sega Genesis Game System, this game was new when I was much younger, and life was much simpler. I often like to relive some of those past times and fond memories, by replaying some of my old favorites. If you want a simple, fun game, but you don't mind simplistic graphics and sound, then Devilish would be a fun addition to any game collection!
Great game! Glad the game worked 1st try. I cleaned the pins my self and no residue, great condition! Thanks!
