The gameplay was not easy for my child (aged 7), but I could decipher it for the most part. A curious storyline that develops well, unsure of replay value, as there's a lot to find in the game.

Love this game, it's very relaxing even though there is a challenge to it also. I love the scenery and all of the little details. There are many different types of challenges so you don't get bored doing the same thing over and over again like in some games.

I’ve never played a game like this in a log time. As soon as the original came out I bought it and years later, I bought this game again just so I can relive my childhood memories

This game looked like it was going to be loads of fun to play but it was a big let down. I never played the first one so I can't compare them, but this game started out really interesting and then suddenly your tossed into a boring tutorial, correct me if I'm wrong but do they not send you a instruction manual to show you how the controls work. Once I got passed the tutorial this game was much more fun, exploring and learning about different species of fish. I'd describe it as if you could tell the scub a divers what you wanted to see well watching them on discovery. As I got farther into the game I found it to be less exciting to explore the areas, I was worried about the shark attacks but they were nothing to worry about they look pretty lame and the only thing it affects is your air drops I found it to be a disappointment I wasn't expecting blood and gore but I was expecting something more like your character being injured and needing to return to the boat for medical care or something. As I went further on in the game there are sub-missions that you need to do for the diving service you are working for but there's nothing making you do them not unless you reach a point where you need more money to purchase equipment so you can dive longer. Over all I found this game to be a disappointment. I haven't been able to try the online yet cause I haven't got any friends to dive with. That was another disappointment to me, you can't just jump online and play you need at least one friend and they have to be at the point where they to can play online. I'm hoping the online play will bring some more interest to this game. I would recommend this game to a very young audience but some of the challenges are to hard for the age group that this game would interest. You would need to be very interested in underwater activities to keep interest in this game. I'm disappointed in the hype around this game.Read full review
I got this for my wife who loves snorkelling, but being that we live in Virginia, snorkelling is kind of no point due to the water clarity and lack of tropical fish. We played if for 2.5 hours the first night, 2.5 hours the next night, and she was playing it for another couple hours a couple nights later. If you want a fairly low stress, different style of game that mimics real life and actually makes you feel like you are in a tropical area along with learning about different fish and even bird species (plus cool facts about them), this game will brighten up your game collection. P.S. If you want to keep your wife out of your hair, this game will do the trick! :-) WARNING: This game may make your spouse book you on a cruise or island adventure without your authority!
