The gameplay is objectively mediocre but there is still enjoyment to be had, the hand drawn graphics look great, the soundtrack is good, and the cut scenes extremely campy. There is a charm to the CD-I Zelda games and they are quite the unique experience. If you can afford it and want to experience a wacky part of gaming history, track down a copy.

The game does have some good things going for it, the music is fantastic, the graphics were ahead of it’s time, and the cut scenes are entertainingly bad. The game however could have been a lot better if they worked more on the gameplay and physics.

The game is terrible. What can I say other than I have officially completed my Zelda collection. It will go on the shelf and be made fun of for generations to come. :)
unless your a game collector or just adventurous with money to blow. i don't recommend this zelda game to any one! cheesy cut scenes. horrible control's! annoying glitches. crappy attacks. id say the only thing decent about this game would be the music. This also goes for the other zelda title like this one.
This is a classic with some fun puzzles, my gripe with this game is the controlling is stiff. A great game for its time!
